Due to overwhelming demand from Film and Digital Media educators and professors from universities across the U.S., we are very happy to extend the deadline for The Edgewise Media / Panasonic Digital Media Film and Video Shorts 2008 Awards Competition Featuring "AMQ," presented and hosted by StudentFilmmakers.com. We will continue to accept your films, videos, and animations up to Monday, March 31, 2008, 5 PM EST.
The competition is open to all filmmakers (not just students) and to all genres of filmmaking including narrative, documentary, experimental, animation and music video.
Uploading films to the official site allows filmmakers, videographers, and animators not only the opportunity to participate in the open call for entries - but also provide the benefits of showcasing, exhibiting and distributing works globally, with online distribution and networking tools at no cost to filmmakers and participants.
Viewers and participants can post comments, questions, and feedback on the films, videos, and animations, as well as discuss and share storytelling and filmmaking techniques.
