Santa Rosa, CA, www.WinePress.US, the largest winemaking & grape growing discussion forum on the Internet will host its fourth annual WineFest in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of wine country in Sonoma County. This is the fourth event, as the first back in 2005 was held in Denver, Co, 2006 was held in Baltimore, MD, and the 2007 event was held in St. Louis, MO.

"I am very excited about the event this year, as there is so much to offer those that attend. I think that the presenters, presentation topics, the full day of free winery tours, the wine tasting and wine competition will make this the best event to date. On top of all this, the event is being held in the heart of wine country, in Sonoma County. People will be traveling from all over the US, Canada and in the past we've even had a gentleman travel all the way from West Yorkshire, UK." said Joel Sommer, founder of www.WinePress.US.

Lake County Winegrape Commission is providing a free full or half day bus tour of Lake County wineries. Fees for the bus, lunch, winery tours and tastings are all covered, and free for WinePress.US Winfest attendees.

Friday evening after the regional wine tasting event, Sonoma County Winegrape Commission is sponsoring the dinner, and educating attendees on the quality grapes and wines produced in Sonoma County.

Seminar topics will include: vineyard layout & design, setting up a home lab, barrel choices, aeration / oxidation, elevation and grapes, proper sanitation, vacuum transfer, blending techniques, yeast / bacteria, intro to wine tasting and more.

Seminars on Friday and Saturday include lunch and dinner. Register before May 30th, and save money. The Flamingo Resort & Spa has a discounted rate for all WinePress.US attendees. You can register for the winefest online at www.WinePress.US and you can register with the Flamingo for your rooms by calling them directly and mentioning the WinePress.US event rate.

www.WinePress.US is the largest winemaking & grape growing discussion forum on the Internet with nearly 7,500 members worldwide, and receiving over 7.5 milion hits each month. WinePress.US is free for all to use, and supports itself by banner ad sales.
